Cantina Panaderia - San Diego

I believe Cantina is an excellent dining option. The menu features some truly distinctive items. If you haven't had breakfast here yet, I highly recommend you do! We've been visiting Cantina monthly since it opened, and we've enjoyed every meal. The only downside is the parking situation, but that's just part of being in Pacific Beach. I hope you enjoy your experience!

Overall, the food was fantastic—like a delightful party in my mouth with everyone invited. The menu featured a diverse array of dishes from around the globe, including Asian, Latin, and Caribbean influences, with options like noodle dishes, grilled fish and meats, and some excellent vegetarian selections. Don’t miss the fried plantain appetizers served with yogurt sauce; they’re a must-try. However, the atmosphere felt a bit lacking—perhaps it was due to the uniformity of the large rectangular space or the bare walls that left it feeling cold. I genuinely enjoy the restaurant, but I have some concerns that it might not thrive in the long run.
