Peruano - San Cristóbal de las Casas

This restaurant after a week traveling over mexiko has fanned something different than tacos etc. and after a holiday in peru enjoyed their food. we ordered two types of ceviche, the “regular” was good, but my wife did not enjoy the “mixed” it something. not quite right about the fish component with a strange musty taste and led to an annoyed like. the empanadas were good, but the plantain with cheese was unobtrusive and unusable, quite differently presented than the menu image.

Excellent ceviche with the choice of many different species we try three. very unique and delicious. also a beautiful rice dish. we were disappointed that they were from the causa that is one of our favorite Peruvian dishes.

We ate here in mexiko. each in our party of 6 has enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere very much. the peruano was a wonderful place to begin our week of excursions in the environment. highly recommended!

We had a good time in this restaurant. The food is good. We tasted different ceviches and enjoyed a very good pisco sour. The service is excellent. The waiters are always checking if you do not need anything. A little bit too much sometimes when...they want to remove your plate at the exact second when you are finished. And they have a very nice way to bring you the note.

We had a thunfish and mixed token, both were tasteful, refreshing and amazing. but we didn't like our main dishes and left from them, who was part of normal (not big), but we find them too heavy and paste like eating. great location, beautiful...and cozy place, great and friendly service. if they like a great ceviche, they will love it here!
