Bidra med feedbackWe didn't dine here, but stopped in to buy some ground coffee for ourselves and for gifts. Definitely not the most inexpensive coffee in town, but seriously tasty.
The best latte I've ever had. And try coffee at every place I can!! Cute location just a few blocks from the central park. I have been everyday!
One of the original coffee places in San Cristóbal (that is why they were able to score such a lovely building, but at the same time stuck at some distance from main drag). Coffee is the best, order Americano La Selva, to die for! Worth the extra walk, plus, its patrons are mostly locals. That tells you a lot.
El café allí está muy sabroso. Tomé el capuchino con chocolate y un café americano. El capuchino fue super bien y el servicio es excelente. This is a really great cup of coffee and the service is fantastic. And there is also live music! Great way to spend the afternoon!!
We don 't hang out in the restaurant but, after trying coffee everywhere in San Cris, we always buy our beans here. They have a really good roaster and, if you like dark roast, I recommend Selva tostada Cubana which is the Union de la Selva beans roasted the darkest that they sell. Other coffee places don 't have really dark roast like this. Some other places burn the beans because the people roasting them aren 't as conscious about what they are doing. At la Selva, they are always consistent. You pay a little more but it is worth it. The cookies are also good and the chocolate covered roasted beans are addictive- especially great for long drives. As far as getting waited on, the staff who sell and grind and package the coffee are very attentive but I don 't know that this holds true at the tables.
