Bidra med feedbackWe went here for Sunday lunch recommended by local friends, so were surprised to be completely alone in the restaurant. The food was a bit pretentious and not very exciting. Apparently this hotel has just changed hands, and has lovely gardens and space for weddings. We asked to see a room, which was absolutely gorgeous, but think that the high price would put most tourists off, when there are so many cheaper and more accesible places out there. They are going to have to tighten up their act if they are going to make this work.
Great breakfast selections everyday and Alberto our waiter was over the top! The french toast, the huevos rancheros were delicious. We asked for crispy bacon and they delivered CRISPY bacon. The setting is the perfect place to wake up, a great restaurant in a great world class hotel.
We ate alone here on a very cold night. The waiter moved us to a tent outside which set up for an event which was cosier. The setting of the restaurant is superb. Atmosphere a bit stiff. Salad average. Soup was good. My wife's chicken dish was very good and my pasta also so. Ordered a Malvbec Reserva bottle...our waiter brought us a regular bottle which was clearly not the correct wine. We went with it but he insisted we were wrong. Still paid the 700 pesos. Food was very good but the should know their wines at a hotel of this quality.
