Gilbert's - San Carlos de Bariloche

Our tour group ate here and included Tommy's pitcher three beers and a conversation about his brewery afterwards. We had a wild boar everyone enjoyed. Visit worth

This is a great place for a meal or beer or break from visiting Bariloche for all the right reasons. The food was excellent, the beer delicious and the staff friendly with fast service. The desserts are amazing. I had the “Wild Bohrein Pot that came with mushrooms, onions and many potatoes. It was tender and amazing “not wild” tasting. The beer is made on site and there were three different types of which I enjoyed the darker ale. While this is a good number of tourists, I believe it is a favorite of locals. The “decor” is also great. Did I mention Dessert? Oreo cheesecake... don't miss it!

Warm, like a mountain hut in the middle of Circuito Chico, you can eat well, drink homemade beer and realize that you are surrounded by mountains, lakes and the Patagonian forest.

We were part of an educational group and this visit (for lunch) was one of the activities. The son, Tommy, who is responsible for the artisanal beer shops, gave us a great intro to his micro brewery and that followed a delicious lunch with great service. It was wonderful to distract the beaten path and visit this family business.

This spot is hole in the wall that makes it's own craft beer. We had lunch there which was very good. Afterwards the owner and his son showed the brewery and how he makes his beer. Fun spot where the locals go and good get...away.
