Bidra med feedbackVery nice Thai restaurant. Very friendly staff. The food is fresh with very clean flavors. I will certainly be back!
The food was always good but now it's just never spicy. I ordered a level 10 stir fry and it not spicier than whataburger ketchup. If the chili came back to thai chili I'd tear it up and give it 5 stars. I'll have to find another place
Editing my review as I'm done with this place for good. Stone oak location closed, quality has gone back and forth due to supplier issues, this I can understand, however I always get 4 chili pastes with my $26 order and today a new girl told me 1 was free and I had to pay for the rest. My order went from $18 in 2016 to $26 in 2023. 400 oz of sambal costs $60 and cheaper at wholesale prices, but they are charging 50 cents per half oz for orders to go, while it's free when you dine in. It's sad when my only complaint is being charged for chili paste on a $26 order.
This is my favorite Thai restaurant. Period. I used to eat here all the time, but moved to Austin. I drive through San Antonio multiple times a year and if Thai Chili is open, I always place a large order to go. I dont even need a menu anymore. I sometimes alternate between my two favorite dishes... sometimes I get both! #59 the fried noodles, or the pineapple fried rice. Also, you must have the fried spring rolls. Chef Chai is amazing. I eat here as often as I possibly can.
Thai Chili: A Gastronomic DelightMy latest culinary adventure took me to the delightful Thai Chili, a gem that truly encapsulates the essence of Thai cuisine. The experience was nothing short of exquisite, beginning with their summer rolls. These delicately wrapped treasures were a harmonious blend of succulent shrimp and tender vermicelli, each bite transporting me to a world of vibrant flavors. The accompanying peanut sauce was the perfect cohort, its creamy texture and rich taste elevating the rolls to a new level of deliciousness. The Thai fried rice with combo meat was a testament to the chef's prowess. Each grain of rice was perfectly seasoned and expertly mingled with an assortment of meats, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate. The dish was a perfect balance of savory and aromatic, a true masterpiece of Thai cooking. And let's not forget the Thai iced coffee. This was not just a beverage, but a divine concoction that provided a refreshing and invigorating end to the meal. Its robust coffee flavor, coupled with just the right amount of sweetness, made it a fantastic choice. In summary, Thai Chili is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic and delectable Thai cuisine. The restaurant excels not only in the quality of its food but also in presenting a culinary journey that delights the senses. A definite five-star experience!
