Bidra med feedbackWe made a reservation , got confirmation, called and left a voicemail with a phone number. We drove 30 minutes to get there and there was a sign on the door. “ Temporarily closed” they didn’t call us to let us know
I showed 5 minutes before my reservation, AND THE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED, with a handwritten sign saying it is temporarily closed.
Only one other couple in the restaurant when we came in. Ordered salads which were small and overpriced. Ordered octopus and lobster risotto. Husband‘s octopus came out 10 to 15 minutes prior to lobster risotto, on a hot skillet which kept cooking the octopus so he went ahead and ate which ended up being tough and burned on the edges sitting on the skillet. Lobster risotto was OK but nothing to sing home about. Very disappointed that the meal was not served together and that we waited so long for food with only one other couple in my restaurant. I feel like I am rather fair with understanding that the service industry is struggling at this time, but I feel like this place was overpriced for what was given to us. I would rather spend that kind of money somewhere where the food service is consistent.
First time not last time . We loved everything about SaVor Bistro. Unique menu, flavorful dishes with impeccable service and presentation. Seafood was fresh and flavorful, risotto rich and filling and they have a great wine list. 5 stars for SaVor !
Our favorite place in San Antonio, SaVor is always exceptional and we have not tried anything we didn’t love here. Great service as always and modern and inviting atmosphere
