Everything on the menu looked delicious and it was quite difficult to choose! As always, it was pretty packed, but the waiting list process is quite practical. You can see your place in the line. We were happy enough to have Shawn as our waiter and he was one of the outgoing waiters we've ever had. He made our first experience in Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. worth the time. Experience in a restaurant goes far beyond what sits on a plate in front of you. Shawn has done a phenomenal job to ensure that we care and was very informative when we ask about certain things on the menu. Shawn, if you read this, you are amazing and Bubba Gump Shrimp is happy to have you as a waiter! Recommend the chicken breast sandwich with one side of potatoes. The Lava Flow Drink with the souvenir cup was not disappointed. Thanks Shawn and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

We had a funny date last night. This week is a special restaurant of the week event where certain restaurants take part to offer a special menu for a specific price per person. So, last night we chose Bubba Gump Shrimp (on River Walk) as our dinner option. I had shrimp mac and cheese for my appetizer, then I had shrimp gum, then surf and turf (ribs and grilled shrimps), and last but not least, desert New York cheesecake. It was delicious! My husband had Salmon (Jenny's Surf) for his main course and the rest was the same. The server was sweet and funny. The food was delicious!

An excellent meal at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. on the riverwalk of San Antonio. Everything from food to service was exceptional and my meal was very delicious. The terrace along the river promenade is heated and well maintained in the winter months. My meal came out very quickly and the service was also great, all about my dinner here was great!

If you like shrimp, it is your ideal place! I'm allergic to shrimp, but there's also meat. There are a variety of drinks and they are delicious. What I don't like was that the tables are small compared to the dishes that are big, so they don't fit the table.

My husband and I have visited Bubba Gump restaurants all over the US and I have to say this is hands down the best experience we've ever had. When we first arrived, we were told we'd have to wait 10 minutes or so outside because the server hadn't arrived yet. But, after only a couple of minutes we were taken inside and our server Joel promptly took our drink order. They didn't have the wine I had selected, so the manager came over to apologize. I wasn't upset because the wine I got instead was just as good. Joel was friendly and came by frequently to see if we were happy or needed anything. The surf and turf was superior and the shrimps scampi had good flavor other than the shrimp being slightly overcooked. If you've been dissatisfied with other Bubba Gump locations, I'd give this one a try!!
