Bidra med feedbackDining concept was interesting, and some food was good, like the silken tofu, trout dip and pork belly. Unfortunately, a lot of the food was more interesting than actually tasty, that is, beyond the first bite, they were lacking in execution. Service was poor, as made to order dishes were slow, and cart passed us by several times. Servers placed food items on edge of table precariously multiple times, and when asked for an item, it would often take multiple requests. Overall fine, not bad, but not worth the price.
State Bird Provisions in San Francisco is a dining gem that left me absolutely impressed. This place is a must visit for food enthusiasts and anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience. The food is served in small portions, and it's fun to share and try a bit of everything. The State Bird with Provisions is a must try it's super crispy and tasty. They have a cart with different bites, and it's cool to pick what you like. Some dishes were hits, some were so so, but overall, we left with full bellies and happy taste buds. The service at State Bird Provisions is top notch. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, and they're more than happy to guide you through the menu and answer any questions. They also expertly paced our meal, allowing us to savor each course. While State Bird Provisions may be on the pricier side, it's well worth it! Whether it's a special occasion or a desire to indulge in an extraordinary meal, this restaurant is the perfect choice.
This was such a fun dinner! To be able to pick out your own dishes on the spot was a fun and interactive experience with my bf. I like how you don't really know what to expect, you just take them as they come. We walked in for a table for 2 on a week night and were pretty lucky to get a table under 30-40min. Reservations can be made online! Most of the dishes were asian-inspired, pretty tasty but a bit too salty for my palate. My favorite was the pomegranate crudo dish!
Love state bird's dim sum style concept! The food is consistently delish, the ambiance is exactly the right amount of liveliness we like, and the staff is attentive and personable. We love eating and taking friends here to showcase what a Michelin star restaurant can offer without spending over $300 per person.
Food, ambiance, service, etc. everything is great, and I used to go there regularly and recommended it to everyone. But be aware that if you call them to cancel your reservation way ahead of time, they may end up not taking it into account in their system and charge you a $50/head cancellation fee and fight it with your bank if you file a claim, which is a shameful behavior and goes against their stated terms conditions upon booking.
