Root Cellar Cafe - San Andreas

Atmosphere, menu options, price, service, food quality, can't go wrong here apparently. 4 times eating here and it has been great every time.

Love the ambiance of the restaurant and the staff are always super great when I come in. Love the food too, never had anything there I didn't like

The food was really good! Had the chicken and waffles and biscuits and gravy. Also had a couple drinks and their brownie dessert. All of it great! The service though was severely lacking for the entirety of the lunch. Our server was nice and energetic but she only checked in on us 3 times during the hour and 15 minutes we were there. Every time we had to flag her down to keep her there to ask her for something as she was just taking empty plates. Definitely will revisit and maybe the service will improve with another server. The gravy and sausage was delicious but the biscuits were cold, hard, and had a cornbread texture. Definitely do not recommend it. The Frittada was nicely plated. I would recommend some salsa or hot sauce as it was on the bland side. Great for a healthy option! The service was prompt and friendly. The ambiance is so cool! Definitely a historic building with charm! I am rating this place as a 3 because the food is...not so tasty.
