Balboa Cafe - San Andreas

We walked here from our hotel, let’s face it- transportation and parking is difficult here. Delicious wine, excellent service, a beautiful restaurant , and memorable food.

Fun little place for cocktails! We got the espressotinis, and they were some of the best we’ve ever had!

I loved the ambience, the service was great. Waiters were really professional and thoughtful, however the food was a bit disappointing to be honest. The orange juice was bitter, the french toast, egg benedict and donuts were not impressive at all. I would've given them 5 out of 5 if the food was a little bit more compelling.

Wandered upon this place, and happy we did. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable regarding the menu. The waitress was beyond accommodating recommending half servings of salads, additions, etc. They even sent us free dessert bc it was our birthdays. The food was flavorful and nice size portions. I can see why this is a neighborhood joint and when I'm back in San Fran I will definitely return.

The burger is now mediocre. Needs a better baguette and larger portions. Watch out for cougars!
