Au Canard Gourmand - Samatan

Eight of us were in the logis au canard, room very clean and fulfill breakfast every morning! Alexander and pauline and all their staff very friendly and would come back. grazien per tutti x

Eat and atmosphere super! good portions and the dishes very well presented! the menu was a set one as a special Valentine's Day evening, but normally there is a great choice!

We were 2 nights this time and the first night was good. we had to leave the hotel early in the last day, but unfortunately were awakened from deep sleep in the early hours. this was the egoism of about 8 raches. gage that decided to use the jacuzzi at 2 o'clock. the debakel began with the knocking on our bedroom door, which is near the jacuzzi. the stairs outside our room, cried out and shouted. also men smoke cigars and the rotten smoke in our room penetrated. Finally, we demanded that they keep the noise down, but they refused aggressively, as they said, they only arrived at the hotel at 18 o'clock and had spent the evening in the restaurant. they wanted to use the whirlpool and said they would have allowed it. when I suggested that they should respect other guests, they did not agree and said that it was her right to use it at any time. obviously they were either very drunk or drugged. it was hard to say what. a woman who wore a hotel dress in jacuzzi, announced to be English and continued to scream and insist that she be in the right. after about an hour of laughing, screaming and stomping outside our room and in the courtyard I arranged the reception. no answer. what if there was a need? the message on the answer phone was too weak to hear, especially with the back of these people. the guests must be informed about the rules, and a worker should be provided to deal with such a situation. close the door also in an early hour to the whirlpool. it was very intimidating. we will not be back.

I visited this restaurant for lunch 3 times and was not disappointed in a single dish. good love for detail and presentation if they like duck or foie gras, they will not be. quality food at a reasonable price. necessary to book. on Monday lunch as it is market day.

We had a very good meal here whilst staying at the hotel. The service left a bit to be desired but understand the servers were the new owners of the hotel and are maybe still learning. It was very friendly though. There are a few...choices of menu that can be chosen (starter, main and dessert or main and dessert etc). We were not that hungry so just had the main and dessert. This cost €30 each. Wine was €6 per glass. We had found it in other restaurants for €4. It was all good though so would definitely go back next time.
