The website presents a nice sample of proposals to spend a different evening from the usual: from themed dinners, outdoor cinemas until aperitif in the orchard, the option I personally preferred. Very good idea to bring guests a hummus of chickpeas as “entrèe”: II found it fresh and satiating. Note of merit for the agri focacce, all to try and share in the middle of the table if you are in a comitive. The service is informal but the staff, very young and the first weapons, is always smiling and kind. Important:necessary the reservation in the summer months,considered the great turnout.

The Cascinetto is my old acquaintance. He was born and became known because he ate the ostrich excellent meat sublime . Unfortunately, in the last two times that there have gone the dishes based on ostrich have come less and less, replaced with normal beef, veal, or in the generic sense poultry. The owners always very kind and very professional to make you feel comfortable, they tell me that at the time of booking you have to ask him expressly, that you want to eat only ostrich...............the location is beautiful in particular in the season late spring/extiva eat at dinner in the applet is beautiful, the otimus service, the ostrich when there is, prepared delicious. I hope for next time, to be able to have a dinner only based on ostrich. one thing that I am very sorry is that for reasons force majeure greater, they stopped the artisan production of items including shoes, belts, handbags, etc. for lack of craftsmen to which they leaned to produce these items. It's been a long time since I didn't write reviews, but this time I felt like writing two lines, I'm pressing that I don't like to make negative reviews. Being in the area is not that you squander your eyes to the campester locations unless they deserve it. Lunch with friends, Sunday of the beginning of November with fresh weather (in the mountains it is snowed and here it is rained strong until the evening before , we arrive: the parking area are fields with sludge, moreover it is just rained, what do you expect? ...by entering the courtyard we find tableware, outdoors! Among the various friends is doubtful: if we have the table outside we must look for another restaurant (I imagine that at the reservation the brave destined outside were warned, I guess... . I see that then also a barn has been destined to other customers...We are in a porch closed to the best with plywood and small windows in plexiglass, for charity decorated with corn plants with so much of cloth, things that we country boys see them for 4 months a year and maybe we would do without it; another small problem is that having no door closing was invaded by flies and wasps. I believe only for everyone: very good bread, savoury meats and no gardener or other accompaniment, good risotto, pork also insipida and according to me not cooked sufficiently, sweet not bad. Wines: between reds or frisin at good price or go up to 28/30€ for red franciacorta of an honestly unknown cellar and above all served too cold, maybe 8-10 degrees directly from the warehouse? Fast service and friendly staff, price of the menu ok. Concluded: I can understand that the local hosts a charm for the Milanese turn but I would not go further, location for me NO, honestly it is not possible to eat outdoors with these temperatures and how can you book a restaurant that if rain you can not go? The small interior space then with insects and with little light and heating off is not at all cozy. I'm sorry but there are many farms in the area that offer more...
I discovered Il Cascinetto more than a year ago and it immediately became part of the places I love. The first experience I tried was the classic dinner in the orchard, an evening in romantic atmosphere with live music, in an informal and handy environment. Dine with the soft lights of the orchard surrounded by the apples, tasting a menu km 0 with the simplicity typical of the farm but satisfying at quality level, flavors and portions. After this first positive experience, I started following Il Cascinetto and the various initiatives proposed, one of these is the outdoor cinema that I had the opportunity to try this summer. An impeccable evening where you leave for a few hours the frenzy of everyday life to enjoy a movie or, as in our case, to return children with Disney fairy tales. All of it by eating an apericena in a cassette complete with agrifocaccia (one of their specialties, pop horn refills, taralli with ostrich salami (their strong piece, being breeders of African ostrich and baked cream. On this occasion I also tasted their apple cider that was really delicious. Having always had positive experiences I decided to organize here my 30th birthday, which was really spectacular. Marta was always very helpful in explaining everything in detail, and she was able to organize everything perfectly, thanks also to Sofia who took care of the wonderful setting. Despite the weather, Marta managed to find a solution to the height. We had dinner in the lavender in a magical atmosphere, with a rich buffet served at the table that satiated all the guests. In addition to being a very important moment for me that I will always remember and of which I have been satisfied in everything and for everything, all my friends have also been. Also during the year there are various initiatives such as the workshop of macramè, yoga classes, brunches, aperitifs or the most recent festival of pumpkin. On the site you will find all the updated and detailed information. For me The Cascinetto is not only a guarantee, but it is a special, magical place, in a simple atmosphere that warms the heart. The desire to do and love for what they do is perceived in the care of details and in the search for various initiatives to make us live special moments all year round.
