TGI FRIDAYS - West Valley City

I will never return to this restaurant. I drove to this place on Saturday 15th juni 100 miles. I had reservations this website for 5:30 o'clock. I just arrived to say from the hostess that they don't take any reservations. I told her that I had a confirmed reservation and was told that the manager told her that there was absolutely no reservations after 17:00. we ate next door. never back.

Everything was good except a family brought a big dog. it was a German shepherd dog and none of the party was noticeably impeded, but my man found the smell of the dog very strong and inconspicuous and that spoiled his meal quite a little. I don't have a very good sense of odour, so it didn't bother me. the dog was good. there were several tables free, but they put the family on the table next to us.

This is my first time writing a negative review of a restaurant I reserved on OpenTable. Up until now, all reservations were successful and my guests were satisfied. It was very difficult to find the restaurant as the exterior lighting was switched off. When I asked the waiter if the steaks were good, they recommended the sirloin and asked how I would like it cooked. I requested medium rare, but it came out well done. When I asked the waiter to take a look, she agreed and took my plate back to the kitchen. The next steak was completely raw. I ended up switching to a salad, which was acceptable. While eating, another employee came and started wiping the floor around me. In most restaurants, minor mistakes are expected and usually compensated with a free drink or dessert. However, this was not the case here. Unless this restaurant is a front for money laundering, there is significant room for improvement in their staff training.

One of the hostess lady was really rude, and she was yelling a lot. Didn’t really appreciate that. The server was cool though.

Great experience! TGIFridays was the only place that accepted reservations when we wanted them, after graduation. Service was excellent, food was great!
