Sonoma Wine Bar - Salt Lake City

Waited over 30 minutes to be seated with a confirmed reservation. Food was not as ordered. Had to wait for the correct item to be prepared. Outrageous wine prices and wine by the glass is mediocre at best. 300% markup on bottled wine. Worst value of any restaurant I have visited.

The waitress was very friendly and helpful, unfortunately she was let down by the kitchen. The soup wasn’t hot, flavor was pretty good though. Unfortunately the steak was WAY undercooked so ordered medium, the first time it came it on the rare side of blue, the waitress apologized and took it back to the kitchen. After a 10-15 minute wait it came back rare, not medium. The mashed potatoes also weren’t hot, the rest of the meal was average. Bummer.

Great 1/2 price small plates before 6PM. Generous sized side plates. Brussels sprouts are delicious! Best filet ever!

What a concept. Two restaurants with separate menus in the same place. Great win list. Great food and good ambiance
