Pago 9th 9th - Salt Lake City

Good. Not great. Quality but not clever. Kind of annoyed by how expensive it was.

Positives: The vibe and service are excellent Negatives: I got the beef rib stroganoff, and while the mushrooms, pasta and crème were delicious, the beef was incredibly dry. I ended up picking around it. I got a glass of the sparkling wine and it was unfortunately a bust for me. I ended up leaving most of it behind. For context, I personally like a clean and crisp sparkling wine and this one was almost abrasive imo. Overall, I would try again as the positives outweigh the negatives, but I might skip the wines

Went here for my birthday and it did not disappoint. The sourdough bread is a must! The best sourdough you will ever have, so good with the house made compound butter. I hear that the Pago burger is the best burger in town, for $20ish it’s worth the money. It is perfectly cooked and juicy. The sauce on the burger is so good. Everything was great. Also we had an awesome waiter, he was very knowledgeable and kind!

The service was great! The waitress was training a guy and they both were great. I would love the coconut sticky rice flavored gelato!

One of the best meals I've had eating out in a long time! The food is so good. And we got to talk w the Somalier and learn about some of the wines they have, it was a great night out! They were very acoomodating to my dates dietary needs which was great. Will be back soon for sure.
