Bidra med feedbackWe four people chose this dimm-sum restaurant instead of others from chinatown because we were influenced by the good reviews. but we were disappointed by our midday experience. first we were not treated the same as the waitress (can be the owner) did not want to assign us to the great table, who said that we should sit 6 people. 5 minutes later 4 men came and were assigned to the table without problems. throughout the lunch she rushed in and out and took command and said that in the rude tongs. She didn't even ask us if the food is proper that she asked the other tables. after lunch we felt a mistake to come here. besides her setting, eating was not thrilled. we often went to Chinese restaurants and every time we find at least one hard drive that was thrilled. but not these.
Visited slc for a day and found this place eating was good. Dim cums were a bit on the sweeter side than what I prefer, but it was pretty good, especially the jumbo garnelen dumplings. some necessary improvements: no music played. I could hear the conversation and chew all literally, and soy sauce or other spices should be brought to tables without asking for them.
The service and eating here is always amazing. the first place where I have ever had a dimming sum, and it puts the cash for any other place I am going. and the prices are fair for the quality of the food they receive. I recommend it to anyone who loves dim-sum, or even anyone who hasn't tried it because they are kind and patient, let them mark what they want, track them what they spend, and will help explain how it works and not overdo too much food. that is not often the case in a dim-sum environment.
The first time I had said a restaurant that I shouldn’t come back because I said the dame, I would like to give her the amount of tips I think is correct instead of letting her load me automatically what she claims a “standard “ 15% tips. absolutely horrible service. she refused to turn the lighter on our table, she increased the price on each dish we ordered, they did not refill my daughter water when they ask. just a poke face and not happy with us from what reason. Maybe because we tried to speak Chinese with her? Apparently, she has no clear understanding of tips and thinks that her client has a 15% additional fee regardless of her service. even if your service for my family only $1 I still gave a generous $5 taps. her restaurant is not safe. but the use of their customers is not the right way to turn around. If she does this, I don't think her business will last. I encourage anyone who has visited or visited the botschaft. I would not recommend this place.
This is an absolute gem in Salt Lake. The food is really just delicious and authentic dim sum. The service can be a bit mom and pop but the food makes up for that. I'd recommend the egg custard buns, barbecue pork buns, and Shanghai dumplings. Hard to go wrong. The area can feel a little unsettling so be thoughtful about your parking and your surroundings.
