Papillon - Salo

We were staying a week in a nearby campsite and on our visits into Salo visited Papillon. We had lunch outside and dinner inside. We were a big group of 8, and even though the restaurant was really busy we were accommodated on both our visits. We found the service to be really friendly and helpful. The pizzas were fantastic, really tasty with a good choice of toppings. The staff were really helpful, making a dish off menu for a 10 year old who loves bolognaise (it was the best apparently! . Lunch outside was lovely with an amazing view over the lake. The beers and house wine were really very good. We particularly liked our coffee! Thank you to the team at Papillon, we really enjoyed our visits!

Ristorante con tavoli di fronte al lago. Ci hanno dato un posto di fronte al lago anche senza che lo chiedessimo. Molto gentili. Pizza molto buona. I tagliolini al pesce di lago sono deliziosi. Torneremo!!!

Le pizze personali sono discrete ma non eccezionali, tuttavia la location sul lago di Garda è davvero ottima.

La impepata di cozze era eccezionale. Anche i primi piatti erano deliziosi.

I have never been disappointed with this restaurant/pizzeria. Their pizza cruncy and tasty and the vegetarian one very well presented and with unusual vegs. Also tried their Crudite' trilogy with Salmon, Seabass and Tunafish: very fresh and well presented. Highly recommended.
