The Indian Table - Salisbury

I ordered takeout from this Indian restaurant last night and was greeted by the friendly owner who took our order. While we waited, he brought us water and delicious poppadoms. The food was flavorful with generous portions. I will definitely return.

I had my first meal from The Indian Table tonight and I was very impressed. The man at the counter was very polite and explained all of their options. I decided to try the butter chicken and I absolutely loved it - it made my mouth water! It was the best butter chicken I've had on this side of O'Connell Street. Well done! I will definitely be trying more of their dishes in the future.

On Friday evening at 7 o'clock, I popped into this restaurant to buy a dessert, gulab jamun, after picking up some takeout from the neighboring Asian Central. The gulab jamun cost $4.50 each, with a service charge. I was unsure if the normal serving size was 2 or 3, but the young man at the counter mentioned (or joked?) that there are usually two and that he gave me an extra one for free. If that's the case, then these little dough balls must be some of the most expensive I've ever had. While waiting for my order, the restaurant was empty, possibly because all the business was next door at Asian Central, which was packed.

Best curries in the southern hemisphere! to be fair tho is the only reason why we go back every week, for the amazing customer service of g! always laugh, and it is worth waiting for a good curry with a smile
