Order their pizza just the way you like it! They have an incredible selection of fresh toppings and cheeses. The vintage cash register adds a unique touch to the atmosphere. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. You can enjoy your meal while looking out through the glass or sipping from a bottle. It's a great spot for lunch, especially since there's a lot more going on in the evenings.

Upon entering, you’ll notice the venue has a rustic charm, complete with a sign indicating the northwest area, large paintings, and mounted animal heads adorning the walls. The yellow roses used as table centerpieces added a lovely touch, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Be sure to inquire about the story behind them; many of the paintings contain hidden details, and the owner has shared letters from his great-grandparents, who had connections to historical figures like President Lincoln, Buffalo Bill, and others. You’ll definitely want to ask for more information! Now, the restaurant boasts that it serves the best pizza in town, so we had to put this claim to the test. Our server brought us honey for the crust after we finished our pizza, which they referred to as the ‘dessert pizza.’ While we felt it resembled more of a school-style pizza with a generous amount of cheese, it was still enjoyable. The food was good, and the drinks were well-mixed, but the unique atmosphere was truly the highlight of our visit in Kansas.

The pizza here is excellent, and the Long Island Iced Tea is fantastic. The music adds to the atmosphere, and the service is top-notch. This is definitely the place to be!

The most unique and original place to eat in Kansas! It’s cash only and on Fridays and Saturdays you’d better have a reservation!! The pizza is as good as ever but if you want a lil’ libation with your pie- the Long Island Iced Tea at The Scheme is the best you’ll find anywhere! My favorite pizza is Canadian Bacon (shredded in lil’ tasty strips! and Black Olive! OR try the Buffalo (yes, BUFFALO! with Mushrooms…mmmmmm… Don’t miss this place!
