Coffee Time Bake Shop - Salem

You've probably come across this restaurant on various lists of places to eat in Salem, and for good reason. Everything is prepared fresh and executed beautifully; we even went back twice during our visit. I’m not a coffee drinker, but my wife really enjoyed her coffee beverage. The donuts are among the best I've ever had and could easily compete with renowned places like Glazed & Infused, Do-Rite, and Firecakes. I just wish I had more time to sample their other pastries!

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The coffee was fantastic, and the Boston cream donut was the best I've ever tasted. The lemon donut was just as delightful! I really wish they had a location in the Chicagoland area. Unfortunately, I forgot to take any photos of the donuts, but believe me—they're worth trying. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this place. You won't regret it!

I really enjoy Coffee Time, but I haven't visited in a while. I stopped by today to grab some treats—specifically, three frosted sugar cookies and a single lemon Bismarck. The total came to $17.83. Honestly, that's just outrageous. I'm not usually one to complain about prices, but this is too much. I won't be returning.

Weird review- donuts and everything baked here is great. Everyone super friendly EXCEPT when you ask for any kind of coffee that requires espresso. Then it?s attitude central. Every single time I order the iced Cuban it seems like I?ve just created thebiggest hassle of the servers life. Today I just got a cup of milk and brown sugar that I threw out on the way out the door.Just take it off the menu if it?s that much of a problem.

The donuts I bought today were fresh and up to par-chocolate/vanilla cream mix, but the price was over the top and I will not go back. $3 for a donut?! They are not some super huge donuts that would make 2 meal. Actually, they are a little on the smallside. Too much, won't return for a donut. I do love the cakes for a special occasion.
