Bidra med feedbackIt takes a bit to serve, but the food is worth waiting and the price. I would recommend here the sweet shrimp bowl (ama ebi don) and seafood bowl, both very tasty and has a good volume.
Known for crab but honest, everything here is a winner. I finished the tekka-don (Tuna rice bowl), ama-ebi (sweet shrimp sashimi) and a few other things. Everything here is excellent and 10/10 would come back here. I loved it.
We stopped at 5:45 in the restaurant and I went to check if it was opened for shops as the city was quiet. A gentleman greeted me and advised that it is not yet a crab season so that she served other sashimi dishes. He also proposed other cooked items for children. We decided to try and was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of sashimi and soba. Our Dinning Room window overlooks the coast and the railway station. We definitely come back and try their crabs!
Opening hours: 11:00 to 22:30. The price of Echizen (yellow day) is much higher than Toyama (green day) and Kanazawa (blue day) snow crabs. Size of 1-kg echizen snow crabs costs about ¥60.000. Winter snow crabs season starts from Nov 6 to Mar. 'Zuwai-Gani' κ蟹 high-grade male crab. Female crab is called 'Kobako ' ό箱蟹. Eat with Sanbaizu Sauce.
The 越前蟹 was delicious! Must order the deep fried shrimp katsu! It's so good!
