Cafe du Casino

We stopped for coffee whilst cycling through and then decided to find out about food. There was no menu or carte, just the special of the day three courses for 12.5 euro. There was help yourself buffet style entrees (which were excellent), followed by steak frites or fish followed by choice of dessert. All this and service with a smile too!

Casino cafe is a favorite of town folks as well as visiting cyclists who inundate Malaucene in summer, spring and autumn planning their ascension of Mt. Ventoux only 30K away by the town of Bedoin. The chocolate crepes at Casino are to die for. In July when the Tour de France is running (and sometimes by the Rue Remparts of Malaucene) Cedric, the admirable new owner, puts a giant flat screen TV out on the cafe terrasse where all can watch the race stage of the day with coffee, beer, ice cream, wine or crepes. At night, Casino is the major bar scene in town.

Je suis rentré dans ce resto il était un peu plus de 14h après avoir était très mal reçu par celui du trottoir d'en face la une dame et ça fille très gentille ma accueillie avec une très grande gentillesse menu 12.50 entrer plat fromage et dessert un regale pas chère

Excellent menu à 12,50 avec buffet en self (cuisiné maison, y compris la mayonnaise) qui sort des sentiers battus, deux plats au choix maison (ex: effiloché de joue de boeuf à la flamande avec des frites), fromage ou fromage blanc avec coulis de fruits, dessert au choix en plus ( moelleux au chocolat, parfait poire caramel, ile flottante,...)Je mange souvent dans cette catégorie de restaurants. Réellement celui ci fait partie de ceux qui sortent vraiment du lot. Excellent simple et chaleureux.
