SOUZOU Asian Kitchen - SAINT PETERSBURG

We had a fantastic time during our senior man night out at Sake 23. One of our group members was a first-timer and absolutely loved the food, especially the deliciously cooked salmon teriyaki. The rest of us are regulars at this restaurant and keep coming back because no matter what we order, the food is consistently delicious and perfectly prepared. Highly recommend!

The overall experience was positive, however, the food left much to be desired. The sushi did not taste fresh and the pad Thai had a consistency more like soup. There were also some items missing from our order that never came out. It felt like the restaurant was in its opening week, even though it has been in operation for years. We are undecided on returning in the future.

The server appeared overwhelmed and we were seated in a secluded back room away from the main restaurant, which was a bit disappointing. The meal was satisfactory, but the overall experience felt overpriced for what we received.

Such a happy restaurant with good service and a mixed bag of people enjoying each other and the delicious food. Sake 23 is a perfect place for groups and also a perfect restaurant for a date. There are lots of different menu choices all easy to share. Tonight we had summer rolls very different from other Asian restaurants in that they serve them slightly warmed and their peanut sauce is the best. We also had pot stickers with two different sauces intertwined which we thoroughly enjoyed. We also had the Hawaiian roll and we would order it again hands down. It’s 21 miles one way from our home and well worth the drive

I was staying at the Hollander Hotel which is next door to Sake 23. I saw the restaurant out of the corner of my eye.....what a find. I had a great experience good food, service and ambience. Loved it...
