My family and I go here as often as we can. The people are always friendly and the food is good. The prices are fair and we normally have great leftovers too.
This place is a disaster. I called to place an order, and they told me it would take 45 minutes. I left my house 40 minutes later, only to sit in the restaurant for another hour before asking about my order. At that point, it wasn't even in the oven! I overheard the cook joke about me going to Golden Corral, and the staff at the front laughed. It was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. Save your time and don't bother with this restaurant; they clearly don't care about their customers.
I recommend saving your time and avoiding this restaurant. The owner is rude, and it seems they don't care about staying in business. The servers were indifferent and unengaged. My family and I felt very unwelcome during our visit, and I wouldn't consider giving this place my business again. Thankfully, after waiting 15 minutes without being served in a nearly empty restaurant, we decided to leave; most other diners appeared to be searching for their food in the kitchen as well.
Everything changed on the evening of March 1, 2019, when my family of five visited. We found ourselves waiting for two and a half hours for our dinner, only to see one of the two servers leave during this time. I even got up from our large round table to help your lone server, who was clearly overwhelmed. This young lady, still in high school, was doing her best to keep a smile on her face and manage a packed dining room. I asked if she needed assistance and started filling drinks, taking orders, and cleaning tables. The positive energy among the diners was palpable and uplifting. However, that positive atmosphere quickly soured when your rude comments about the restaurant were audible above the din of your patrons. I saw you notice me refilling drinks for my family, and even your solo server informed you I was helping her out since her partner had left. Yet, you couldn't spare a moment to acknowledge my efforts with a simple thank you or, more importantly, to support your only server. It was disheartening to hear you belittle her in front of everyone, including the carryout customers who had already waited a long time. A few families dining around us overheard the situation, and I even advised them to leave and find another restaurant to avoid being part of your chaos—and so they could eat before 8:30 PM. It took me weeks to write this review because I was genuinely insulted and disappointed by your lack of professionalism and the way you treat your employees. It’s no wonder you struggle with maintaining business; it’s not about hiring teenagers (as you’ve claimed in responses to past reviews), but about treating people with respect and kindness. You've not only lost us as customers but likely several others who witnessed your behavior that night. While this review may not change anything for you, I will certainly be advising all my family and friends to steer clear of what you call a restaurant. If you find yourself unhappy or struggling with your business, perhaps it’s time to consider selling or closing up shop, as your entire staff and customers clearly deserve better.
