Mekong Bbq - Saint Paul

Terrible, simply terrible. The cook clearly lacks any culinary skills. The beef was coated in cornstarch, making it slimy and inedible. The seasoning was either overly strong or completely lacking. Don't waste your time or money on this restaurant.

The food here is quite good, but occasionally they either close unexpectedly or run out of certain menu items. Additionally, parking can be a bit limited.

As for the food, my husband really enjoys their roast pork, and I'm a big fan of the pork belly. I can only speak about what I've personally tried, and I can say that the pork belly is wonderfully crispy. Just keep in mind that the fat-to-meat ratio can differ depending on the cut you get. I've visited often enough to confidently say I've only felt “meh” about the food once. Overall, I would give it a solid 10/10 recommendation!

I cannot recommend this restaurant, particularly for catering services. Their business hours are inconsistent and frequently change. They may advertise on their Facebook page that they're open until 4 PM, but if you go there at 2 PM, you might find a notice on the door saying they are closed. It’s nearly impossible to place an order since they don’t respond to phone calls, voicemails, or messages on Facebook. I honestly don't understand how they manage to stay in business or if they selectively choose who they respond to or provide services for.

The food here is good, but only if you can actually get in. It seems like this place might be permanently closed. I've tried going twice on the days they claim to be open, and both times they were shut. Save your time—it's hardly ever open anymore.
