Bidra med feedbackAfter placing our order, I spoke with our waiter and mentioned that we were celebrating my husband's birthday. I wasn’t expecting dessert, so I jokingly asked if they could put a candle in his potato instead. He found my request amusing but was more than willing to accommodate us! First, we were served a cheese platter, which included various cheeses, dried mango, dried cranberries, crostinis, and chalks. I thought the selection and quality were good but nothing extraordinary. My husband was quite impressed, though! Next, we had some stuffed potatoes filled with goat cheese and basil, wrapped in bacon. They arrived hot, and I should have let them cool for a moment, but I just couldn’t resist! Finally, our dessert came out, complete with a lit candle in our potato, which made my husband laugh! After we blew out the candle, we dug in. The steak was tender and juicy, topped with a delicious pat of garlic butter. The asparagus was cooked perfectly, and the potatoes were lightly seasoned, complementing the rest of the dish nicely! We had such a wonderful evening, and I’m sure we’ll be back soon!
This is a small, intimate, and charming restaurant. The interior features a simple yet classic design. The cocktail menu is creative, extensive, and expertly crafted. The speck wrapped in goat cheese, basil, and balsamic reduction is delightful. While the waiting staff may come across as a bit aloof, the kitchen staff—who work in a tiny, open space—are friendly and skilled. It's a fantastic spot for a date.
