Russell's On Macklind - Saint Louis

Typically always love going to Russell’s for brunch, but not so much this time. Food was good but the service, or lack there of, really kinda ruined it.

This is our favorite weekend spot! Maggie and Faron are the best duo! The servers are outstanding and the cooks and their food is always a hit! See you soon, Jorge Nathalie and Lils

The first table we sat down at on the patio had wall installation falling down on top of us. The server said there’s bees in there and I would assume if you knew that you would fix it? The food is good, but for the price it’s not amazing. Desserts are good and the ambience is really cute. Service is a little slow. Maybe better for a happy hour than a nice dinner but that’s just my opinion. I know a lot of people love this place but this was just my experience.

The food was simply outstanding! We had both the short ribs and the pasta with shrimp and they both were excellent. Service was very good. Especially on a weekend evening, the parking is challenging as it is nestled in a residential area with a few other commercial businesses. Don't miss shopping for your desert from the case.

I love this place! Plenty of outdoor seating (some covered) and great service. The food is good, but the desserts are fabulous!
