Jimmy John's - Saint Louis

I've had experiences at this location that vary quite a bit; sometimes they’re fantastic, and other times, quite disappointing. Each visit feels like a bit of a gamble—you could have a good time or not. The customer service could definitely use improvement. Usually, there’s one friendly staff member among the three or four working, while the others often appear disinterested, as if my presence is an inconvenience. On the bright side, since it’s Jimmy John's, the sandwiches are consistently good, so I typically just grab my food and leave.

They are finally back after what seems like one of the longest renovations ever! The new staff is a bit slow, the music was quite loud, and the cashier wouldn’t speak above a whisper. There were several mix-ups with orders. However, my sandwich was good, and I believe the rest will work things out in time.

The sandwiches are reliably delicious and, as the ads indicate, they're prepared surprisingly fast. I've never encountered a large crowd during my visits, but the restaurant is still thriving, so perhaps most of their customers opt for take-out or delivery. Regardless, you can count on getting good sandwiches in no time.

I must say, even though I sometimes receive the wrong order from Jimmy John’s, every sandwich I've gotten from this particular location has been incorrect. I specifically request no cheese or mayo, along with a few extra toppings due to my milk allergy. While it's not life-threatening, it's really disappointing to see those items listed on my receipt only to receive something completely different. It appears that this location has some major problems.

The food is fantastic, but they are currently short-staffed. It may be wise for them to rethink their "freaky fast" claim.
