The Lebanese food is amazing at this restaurant. However, the portion sizes and prices are not balanced. The potatoes have a lot of garlic, which could keep away any germs for a week. The menu lists fries, but I have never actually seen them served at this restaurant.
Yes, amir is a chain of restaurants but if you are looking for a tasty meal to eat on the spot or to bring, it is one of the places that will not deceive you. Salads are fresh, savory falafels. I recommend the combined aste (probably to depart because the serving is generous.
Amir has been a chain of restaurants established in Quebec for several years, specializing in the cuisine of the Near East, mainly Lebanese. This kitchen is less exotic than twenty years ago while amir was a precursor. There are now many other restaurants serving similar cuisines, many of which are more original, distinctive or better value for money. However, Admir St. John remains in the right average; The plates are consistent, the menu is quite varied, in short one eats fast and well. The atmosphere is absent: large room, no decor, no music ... short closer to the American strings (mcdo, harveys ...) than the North African. Yes for food, yes for prices, no for disbursement ...
For a Lebanese cuisine restaurant with fast service, it appeared to me the best choice for the quality of food and its freshness. the price is reasonable and for the plate of shish taouk, for example, we are offered the choice of couscous with vegetables instead of rice or potatoes, and we can add a second choice. I tried many Lebanese restaurants and this one is my best one of my best choices.
