Strathcona Beer Company

Pretty good food selection here. They have trivia night on Monday which was a blast. Highly recommend their tartufata pizza which was bursting with mushroom flavour. The Margherita pizza was just average, it said it would have Fior di latte cheese but mine didn’t have any on it when it arrived and only Padano cheese which overall made it a bit oversalted. Would have been better with mozzarella like typical margherita pizzas. The wings were tasty but a little on the pricy side for what you get. The kombucha they have here is delicious and the seating and lighting and ambience here is super clean, new, and nice.

The beer is pretty decent, and the atmosphere is fun. But the service we had was the worst I've ever had in Vancouver.The waitress we had was rude, impatient, short and rushed. Maybe she was just having a bad day, to give her the benefit of the doubt? We arrived an hour before closing to wrap up our east van brewery crawl on a Saturday a few weeks ago now and as soon as we stepped in she was rushing us and had a horrible attitude. Thankfully we maintained our spirits but would not come back purley due to the service!Wasn't going to leave a review but I have a friend who went recently and told me they had a similar experience. : sucks to hear.

I recently hosted a private party at Strathcona and I cannot express how impressed I was with the entire experience. From start to finish the team at Strathcona Brewery went above and beyond to deliver this surprise bday party.Event Director Staff Jonquil the event director was amazing throughout the planning process, helping with ideas, reservations, building out the menu all the way through to execution. The staff was not only professional, attentive but also incredibly friendly all evening long.Food Bev. INCREDIBLE. Everything was much more polished and refined than you would expect from a brewery/pub food. The meatball and chicken sliders were a big hit, full of flavour. As expected (and what they're known for), the pizza was AMAZING. Great selection of beers, cocktails and wine. They were even able to bring in some speciality options that we had requested.Space More than enough space for the 65 70 guests that attended. It was the perfect size layout where it felt intimate but also not crowded. The staff said we could decorate as we pleased but other than a few balloons and pictures not much else was required given their already clean modern design. There was also free arcade games for kids which was a bonus.Overall, I cannot recommend Strathcona Beer Company highly enough, for a private event. Will definitely book again for future private events.Vegetarian options: Vegan and Vegetarian options were also available and a big hit!

Awesome microbrewery with a great vibe to it. Beers were delicious with a good mix of your classics (Lager, Pilsner IPA etc and some more experimental flavours too. I had the Mac n cheese which was delicious. Staff were fantastic good knowledge and happy to give tasters to help you decide which beer to have. 10/10 would recommend :

This place rocks. Long tables that are good for larger groups, great mainstay beers with a few experimental ones. Good pizza and dinner choices with a couple legit salad options. Staff are fantastic and social. Can get busy fast.Vegetarian options: The salads are the bombKid-friendliness: Well behaved kids are welcome.
