Bull Crown Publick House

We requested to be seated at one of the outdoor tables. There were four adults and three small children, each in strollers. After waiting for over half an hour without any explanation, a very skinny waiter with long hair informed us that we could not be seated at our requested table. Instead, he wanted to place us at a table inside the restaurant near the entrance, which wouldn’t have been comfortable for us. Meanwhile, they preferred to seat three women without children at our outdoor table.

We finally had the chance to check this place out. The wings were excellent, and the ham and cheese sandwich was surprisingly delicious. The fish and chips were enjoyable, especially when paired with the tartar sauce, although the breading could use a bit more seasoning. The atmosphere was great, and the staff was friendly. We definitely recommend giving it a try!

During my time in St. Augustine, it seemed like every restaurant had slow service and lengthy wait times for food, and this place was no exception. However, I did enjoy sitting outside and watching people stroll by, as it's located on the main strip, which is quite nice. They do serve a tasty patty melt here.

Visited this restaurant based on the reviews but was disappointed. Fish and chips were undercooked and mushy. Ham and cheese melt was missing jam and mostly crunchy bread. Items mentioned in other reviews were not on the dinner menu we were given. Ourwaitress worked hard to serve us and others. I would return to enjoy a drink on the patio and try an appetizer but otherwise Iwouldn't visit again.

Delicious British food. Excellent and attentive service! The fish and chips is excellent. They also serve flavorful red sangria which was a pleasant surprise! Definitely will be back again soon. Had a wonderful experience!
