La Casa Nelly's - Saint Albans

Eating was very good, but without any signs on the building and Google maps showing the location over the street, it is difficult to determine where it is located.

There was so much excess water from the pulled chicken tacos it made her soggy and the pulled chicken was bland, almost as it was not even seasoned. The Burrito was also blanching and the fries were also soggy. For $50 for 3 meals and 2 pages it was definitely disappointing. Also their website buried objects that were not available, but then when we called to order, they were out of almost everything we wanted, even if their website did not reflect. Finally, their Google business list, their website and their online menu had all different names for their business (La Casa Loco Bar Grill, La Casa Nelly's and Nelly's La Casa). Not very professional.

I have the luxury to travel a lot for work and therefore I also have the luxury to visit many restaurants. Some are terrible. Some are subpar, but now and then I stumble over a diamond. In my opinion, LA Casa Bar Grill in St Albans Vermont is the hope diamond. First, the service is fast and with a real smile. The options are plentiful. The prices are reasonable, but for the love of God, the fried beans will feel you as if you have just won the PowerBall. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely. I would love this place to keep my little secret, but then not from you would experience a really wonderful meal.

Great food and prices. Portions are right and Maverick was great and so on his game. Definitely worth regular visits.

The food was tasty and affordable and the service is good. The portions are good size, my wife and I split an entree and side and we left stuffed.
