Kläppen Restauranger - Saelen

I had lunch at the upper joint where we ordered waffles with venison and a gluten-free sandwich, but it didn't go as planned. When our food arrived, the waffle, which was supposed to be made with gluten-free ingredients, had a regular bread base that could be harmful for someone with a gluten allergy. The mess was quite alarming, and fortunately, I was able to eat only a few bites before we decided it was best to stop.

Moreover, this is the first time I am complaining publicly; it takes a lot for me to do that. But this truly was the worst food I have ever had, and the others in my group felt the same way. We didn’t finish our meals and had to find a new restaurant outside the Kläppen area.

We visited the Trana restaurant for lunch on Sunday, and I can honestly say it was the worst meal I've ever had. There were two adults and two children in our group, and we ordered different dishes. The common theme among all the meals was that they were all poorly made and half-finished. In the meat sauce, there were large 5 cm chunks of something unidentifiable, the meatballs were of the lowest quality resembling powdered sauce, and the mashed potatoes were terrible—I've made them so much better myself, but this was my first attempt at making them.
