Lemon Grass - Sacramento

First the host said the open table reservation was not valid. But they set us up. There were two mistakes in our order. Wrong duck was brought to the table. Correct duck was finally brought after the other 3 were almost finished in our party. I ordered to tempt what was wrong. Waitress was nice, but seemed unorganized. Food was good, but not exceptional

Best spring rolls I've ever had. The pork medallions were delicious, and so was the cocoanut ice cream.

Always an enjoyable experience. Creative flavorful Asian dishes presented with flair. Attentive service in an attractive setting. A wonderful neighborhood addition.

Lemon Grass became my daughter’s favorite restaurant when she was my granddaughter’s age (9). We celebrated her graduations and birthdays there and even ordered take-out for her wedding shower. Decades later, it provides a predictably delightful experience.

Great restaurant with several experienced servers who can advise about the menu. English has been an issue in our last two visits, as our servers were obviously still emerging as English speakers and we didn’t recognize them from previous visits. I’m completely supportive of hiring servers who are from other countries and who are acquiring English but it takes time and patience on both ends. Our entrees were completely wrong last night, though the server apologized and immediately took steps to correct his error. This slowed our dinner, but he was very nice, though clearly flummoxed. We hoped he didn’t get in any trouble.
