Best speakeasy anywhere. Bartenders are unbeatable, and their skills are showcased in the dice option here. Intimate atmosphere that embodies what a speakeasy should be. Drinks are intricate and sophisticated, but very reasonable. Beverage options and experience is equally as impressive for designated drivers. Oculto is the place to beat!

Had a great time here. The drinks were phenomenal and the ambiance definitely gave you a feeling of being in a speakeasy in the 20's. Will recommend Oculto to all my friends!

Loved the scenery, but can't give 5/5 since there was a party of four in there absolutely shouting (glad they were having fun, but the bar is way too much small for that much noise). My friends loved their drinks. I really appreciate that they offer alcohol-free options on the menu. Biggest downfall, in my opinion, was that although we got there on time for our reservation, we were made to wait 15 minutes before being allowed in but were promptly expected to leave after the hour and a half from the time of our reservation instead giving us the full 90 minutes. I would understand had my party arrived late, but this wasn't the case. I also understand that things happen and sometimes reservations can't be accommodated on time, but I think the inconvenience could have been handled better.

Their cocktails were delicious! The bartender during our visit was very attentive, kind, and knowledgeable of their drink selection. I highly recommend after you drive at a restaurant in Old Town and want to have a calm moody evening with a dark Spanish western tavern atmosphere! I cannot wait to visit again!

Excellent drinks and the design is interesting. the barmen are really professional. Only thing, you cannot stay more than an hour and a half while in other hidden bars in San Diego it's usually 2 hours.
