Lucky's Lunch Counter - S San Diego

This is a great spot to grab a quick bite to eat! The service is always friendly, the food is pretty good and there's a nice spot to eat outside! It did not disappoint!

Ordered the chicken fried chicken. It was good, nothing special. Service was good and fast. Limited seating and menu. There's other places that I would go to first for breakfast but it's worth trying. Overall a 3.75/5

Ordered on line for a to go order. 1st sandwich Roastbeef on wheat cold onion, Swiss cheese. deli mustard. Received sandwich which also had mayo lettuce tomato, pickels. yuck. 2nd sandwich Turkey lettuce tomato onion on wheat cold with Avocado and bacon. Received sandwhich which also had mayo, I'm intolerant to, deli mustard and pickels, warm, toasted yuck. It had been awhile since going. Now I won't be back. The counter staff is very friendly and efficient. Always has been. It's the chefs who don't pay attention.

Great atmosphere, service was beyond great, employees are very friendly and courteous. I'll come back!

This is a FYI review for those with guest who become mental after too much caffeine. This is a limited menu place that offers some breakfast and lunch items. What you see here on reviews, is what you get. Soon as I walked in by appearance only, I could see they didn’t serve DeCaf Coffee and they don’t. So FYI for those of you with guest you’d rather see not Caffeinated. We ended up at the Provisional, go there for my full review of course it was 30-40% more but had fresh food options. Well worth it in a nut shell.
