Bidra med feedbackWonderful breakfast we had on the coast at a prime location. However if you choose to eat outside, be prepared for the sea smell. Sea life is right there visible from the restaurant, so you will certainly smell it, too. But don't let it be the distraction from their amazing food. Kids and we loved their breakfast. All entrees were large in size. And the French toast, oh my... let's just say there is a reason why they're famous for it. I'm not a fan of French toast, but this one was something heavenly. Absolutely a must-try
Food was outstanding as was the attentive service. Menu options were unique and varied, not the usual boring bacon and eggs. The view was an added bonus! Look forward to going back to try more of the menu items.
I've always loved Brockton Villa and have considered it to be very special. I was so disappointed in the service and the feeling that we were not welcome. I hate to say this but I'm not sure that I'll go back. So disappointing!!
This place certainly survives on location alone. Our $83 brunch (without tip) consisted of two terrible dishes and a mimosa flight. The crab Benedict was awful and the breakfast tacos were uninspired and overfilled with eggs. With so many options available in La Jolla, I would avoid this one.
The view from our table was amazing. The sea lions playing in the ocean was a wonderful addition to our table conversation. The food and drinks were excellent. Amy was a wonderful host and waitress. I will definitely return when I get a chance to visit La Jolla again.
