Banh Cuon Phuong Nga - S San Diego

I absolutely love the Banh Cuon! I will definitely come back the next time we visit San Diego. We ordered several dishes to share family-style, and that’s the best way to enjoy the meal!

The banh cuon was acceptable, but the cha lua had a strong, unpleasant odor, as if it had been left out for too long or cooked in very old, burnt oil. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

I really enjoy their Banh Cuon. I usually order the #4 combo with all the meats. One thing I’d love to see is a bit more basil in their vegetables, and it would be great if they were fresher and less steamed. Their dipping sauce is fantastic—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice, sweetness, and that distinct fish sauce flavor!

One of the best banh cuon place in San Diego. The bun rieu here is also amazing. This place is to go only and sometimes there's an hour wait.

Been missing banh cuon and stumbled across this place. They have a limited menu and specialize in banh cuon dishes. I ordered the special order banh cuon plate which comes with three different types of meat, side of veges (bean sprouts, cucumbers, and herbs) and sauce. The banh cuon was good but a bit too peppery. The restaurant was hard to find but its located in the corner plaza with a supermarket. Service was quick and my food was ready in less than 10 minutes.
