Service was brilliant, couldn’t have asked for more. A locals pub, friendly and welcoming. In need of some tlc in comparison to other local pubs but all round great. The food portions were spot on, and the food is homemade. I had the shepherds pie and it was really bland. With it being home made I expected it to be full of flavour but was left disappointed. Would visit again but only for drinks. Price per person: £10–20

We were given a gift voucher for a meal from Gift Ideas for Two, so booked the tasting menu at The Drovers because we were on holiday in the area, we were made very welcome, the menu choice was extensive, the portions were not too big, which made the whole meal enjoyable, beautifully cooked food, a very enjoyable evening. All credit to the chef who works alone.
