Bg's Boat House Marina - Rye

After a day at the beach, we found this place by accident and decided to stop and am absolutely thankful we did! The food was amazing and our waitress was super attentive. We both got fried clam strips and our waitress comes out with 2 small additional plates of strips telling us the chef thought we didn't get enough. You can't beat that customer service! Definitely will be back!

View was nice, server was attentive Food was terrible and way overpriced Clam chowder tasted spoiled like sour cream, haddock was dry and the worst part was the plastic forks and knives to cut shrimp ect .. for our 1st visit to Portsmouth this was a terrible lunch and cost way too much ..

The ambiance is perfect New England. The food was fantastic, especially the blackened halibut. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and head chef. Great people in a great place. Highly recommend!

This was a hidden gem we came upon- the service was fast, food was great, and location was away from the more thickly settled restaurant scene in the area. It was still very busy, but the general vibe was much more relaxed and casual. It will definitely be in the rotation for an easy going night out.

We go here every year on vacation, the food is fresh and amazing, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and you can't beat the view.
