This man is one of the greatest living men ever! A literal angel on Earth! I can never thank him enough for saving the most priceless memories a person could ever cherish. My surviving and thriving son and his incredible wife and my beautiful grandchildren will now receive a part of their heritages that if it wasn't for stumpy I would not have these priceless memories! We have dined at Stumpy's several times over the past four years, and each visit has been marked by excellent service and delicious food at a reasonable price. This recent visit was no different. What made it even more memorable was the fact that, despite the restaurant's impending closure in a couple of weeks due to the owner’s retirement and the lack of a buyer, the enthusiasm and dedication of the staff remained undiminished. The service was outstanding! Our waitress was particularly attentive when I expressed interest in purchasing one of their remaining T-shirts. She went out of her way to check two different storage areas and brought me what they had along with the price list. I picked one out and gave her a generous tip for her efforts. This level of care and dedication is characteristic of small-town hospitality. It’s sad to see them close. Service: Dine-in; Food: 5; Service: 5; Atmosphere: 5.
