Bidra med feedbackI visited Sophia's after hearing about their recent local award. The hot chocolate did not look appealing and set the tone for the overall experience. There was no option to add extras like cream or marshmallows. I ordered the turkey, stuffing, and apple sauce sandwich, which was a disappointment. The sandwich arrived cold on plain white bread, with thinly sliced packet turkey. It did not meet my expectations for the price of £6. The other meal, a panini, was average but nothing special. Overall, the experience was underwhelming.
Wow! What an amazing find this was, lovely atmosphere, passionate staff, and the incredible food! We both had the full English breakfast, and it was delicious. Locally sourced ingredients, which was noticed in the taste, prepared fresh, and very reasonably priced! Highly recommend, and we dine out at least 3 times a week, so trust me when I say; you won’t be disappointed!
I had two afternoon tea vouchers for Mother's Day and decided to go with my mom. We have been to several places for afternoon tea, but Sophia's is definitely my favorite. They offer a great selection of sandwiches, two freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam, and a variety of cakes and macaroons. The two big pots of tea were delicious. They also have gift vouchers available, making it a great option for a special gift for family and friends.
Sophia's is such a lovely cafe. The food is delicious, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the cakes are amazing! Please try it out for yourselves. You will have a good time
