The Bulls Head Pub - Rugby

My first visit to The Bull Inn was for business. I had dinner and stayed in the rooms above the pub for the night. The dinner was absolutely excellent. I ordered the fish and chips and I have never seen such a large portion. Despite having a big appetite, I couldn't finish it all. The meal was really tasty and was complemented well by a lovely pint of beer. The room was very affordable and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodations for the price. It was excellent value for money and included everything I needed. Thank you for a great stay, I will definitely be returning in the future.

We visited the restaurant on Saturday after seeing posts on Facebook about their new vegan menu. The food was incredibly delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. The service was good as well. We will definitely be returning.

After waiting for an hour for our food, I inquired about the status at the bar and was assured that our order would be next. However, three more tables were served before us. When the food finally arrived, it was not worth the wait or the money we had spent. We were offered complimentary drinks to make up for the delay, but they took a long time to arrive and when they did, the order was incorrect. This was the worst service I have ever experienced at a pub/restaurant. The staff seemed to be quite young, which may have contributed to the poor service.

We had to wait an hour for the food we ordered. eating that came was not worth waiting, they didn't even seem so busy. they then offered free drinks, but we also had to wait for these age groups. really terrible. our pet dog. had good service and was brought a bowl of water and some cookies.

We have regularly had enjoyable Friday nights fish deal here and have always been impressed up until tonight. Our table was booked and we ordered the fish and fizz deal. We waited over 40 minutes for our food. They had sold out of prosecco (which...should have been part of the deal) so we're given two small bottles (note one bottle= 75cl, two small ones 50cl .....spot the difference Usually there is so much food on the plate, we have a job to eat it all, NOT tonight! Fish has halved in size and instead of usual tasty chips got some sort of seasoned rubbish! Price has increased by £5 which would have been okay if quality was as good! I'm sure staff were aware of the situation because not once were we asked if everything was okay! Such a pity because we love it here but tonight were made to feel very uncomfortable! Senior staff need to be more sociable and learn a lesson from the youngsters!
