The Red Heart - Ruddington

I used to frequent this restaurant for lunchtime drinks and a bite to eat, as well as for early evening drinks after work. However, there was rarely anyone else in the restaurant, which surprised me because I found it to have many great amenities. There is ample parking behind the pub, which is convenient. The interior is well-maintained and charming, with fairy lights and rustic beams in the ceiling. The service was always friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable - one time, I only ordered a pint of squash and a glass of water for someone and the bill came to only 20p! The food served is typical bar snacks, but it is good and reasonably priced. I recommend giving this place a try, unless there is something I am missing.

Friendly, I get the vibe that that they have a lot of locals but didn't feel out of place. The guy who runs it is very friendly too

We had our wedding reception at the country cottage yesterday and it was fantastic! The food was amazing, the rooms were beautiful, and the staff was excellent.
