Chela's Mexican Food - Royal Palm Beach

I went to this restaurant on a whim and was disappointed. The margarita was delicious, but the guacamole had brown spots. The carne asada taco was greasy and the meat was dry. At least the cilantro was fresh. It was 1pm on a weekday and I was the only customer there. The employees seemed uninterested and treated me as an inconvenience. Maybe they should consider turning on their open sign next time and they might attract more customers.

I would advise against visiting this restaurant. My burrito was a messy disaster and didn't taste good. The guacamole was very salty but fresh tasting. The tacos were just average. I have no plans to return.

Tonight, we tried Cheka's for the first time and were incredibly disappointed. Both my partner and I ordered the chimichangas, but I was very unsatisfied with my crushed meat chimi. There were four pieces of bone in my meal, which posed a potential risk to my tooth or throat if swallowed. After finding the fourth piece of bone, I could no longer eat the dish. The rice was extremely dry and the refried beans were watery, which was quite odd. Additionally, we tried the queso, but it was filled with chunks of firm, fatty cheese that was also inedible. I am not pleased with this experience and plan to return tomorrow to request a refund.

I do not ask to honor this point, which is exceptional and worthy. the melted cheese was hard that I didn't bring it back because I live far away, I put it in the müll I won't come back.

They put olives in everything which is weird for one. The enchiladas verdes and pollo gorditas were okay, although the empanadas were sprinkled with oregano seasoning?? Not very authentic mexican food, its really good for late nights when theres nothing else open
