Al Dente - Rouen

Just had a great feed here. Good portions, decent honest food and friendly staff. Thursday night and very busy with locals. Fast service. No complaints.

Food and wine were of a good quality. The restaurant owner was an amiable person. We enjoyed dining there.

After a 7 week holiday, including two weeks in France, we finished with a great meal in a family restaurant. Authentic and tasty food and an engaging manager made for a lovely evening. We came in soaking from the rain and were placed in the window table next to the heater to dry out!

The food is great. The risotto Adriano is a piece of art. Very good! The owner makes everything perfect with a smile and nice suggestions. Great place!

We always stop in Rouen on our way back to visit family in the UK. We stay at a hotel nearby but in 4 years the menu has never changed. While it is good, it is expensive so we decided to look elsewhere. Chose this restaurant after reading the reviews on here and we were delighted with the results. It was only 11 minutes from our hotel and as we entered the restaurant we were effusively greeted by the owner who then presented us with a free apero! The food was excellent and we had a good chat with the owner about rock bands as Led Zeppelin played in the background! Would definitely go here again the next time we are in Rouen for our stopover.
