Bidra med feedbackThe Umami by Han is a stylish restaurant with Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese and French influences. The €40 menu included delicious aniseed rolls with a sweet garlic sauce as a starter, followed by an umami-rich duck breast with cucumber, seaweed salad and onion vinaigrette, and a crayfish salad with lobster broth. The second course was tuna in a sweet garlic hoisin sauce with basil creme fraiche, konjac noodles, sundried carrot and olive crumbs. As an intercourse there was a fried crab with delicious coconut shrimp. The main course consisted of lamb curry with coconut and kidney beans and quail breast with parsnip puree and bean sauce on well-cooked rice. For dessert there was a lemony cake slice with matcha ice cream and cherry sauce. The dishes were delicious, but a bit too sweet for some tastes. The cuisine is of good quality at reasonable prices and the menu is beautifully presented. There is also a sharing menu where you can choose two dishes per course from an extensive menu. Tea lovers will appreciate the extensive tea menu. The teapots poured over wine glasses make for an entertaining presentation. All in all, a recommendable address for delicious Asian cuisine at fair prices.
