Kaiserschmarrn one word review. Well worth the boat trip (if you're on the other side of the Lake). Considering our hotel was relatively empty it was surprising how busy this restaurant was. Food and service was good. We will return.

Did not stay at hotel but ate at restaurant twice during our 4 day stay.Really enjoyed the steak on our visit and chose to visit on our final night and enjoyed a repeat performance with excellent tasty fat free steak cooked to perfection.Be aware tax...is added to the menu prices at 19% unlike other restaurants we visited. Even so well worth a visit.

I had the local fish from Lake Tegernsee and it was delicious! It came with boiled potatoes and a salad, and bread for the table. For dessert, I had an apple dish that was great, but my friends' apricot dumpling-type dessert? Amazing!

We celebrated a birthday here with dinner , very welcoming staff on a busy evening . The outdoor areas were closed due to rain so inside was busy but the staff worked hard to keep everyone served . English menus were provided for the non...German guests without us having to ask . Beautiful starch white table cloths and nice place settings have the restaurant an elegant feel . It is white asparagus season here now and they offered a wide variation of servings for this . The steak was excellent and the breaded fried fish delicious as was the potato and cucumber salad . The frozen cappuccino desert was amazing . If it’s not raining book a terrace table and soak up the incredible view . A good choice all round .
