Bidra med feedbackReally good food and drinks in a great atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the food is very delicious. Prices are fair for the good quality you receive. Your posted specials are always a good choice. A really good place to meet with friends and enjoy good food and drinks, and occasionally watch the trains by.
Absolut LOVED all about The Boxing Donkey! Only to get into the front door brings you to the pub area. The ambience reminds you of an old, authentic Irish pub that covers you completely! Chalkboards filled with ales, beer and all kinds of liquid yamses! An old, beautiful wooden floor. The staff is very friendly and friendly. They directed us to the end of the bar where we could order drinks and food. After meeting our drinks selection, we decided to sit inside and make our way to the dining room. I can't begin to explain how much I enjoyed our area, walls covered with personal photos, funny ale and Irish whisky deaths, even pictures of someone dog. We sat at a table for four, came down, ordered our food, and my son brought us water and cutlery. We talked and waited for our food. I ordered the conjured beef reuben, which comes with fries and donkey sauce. My whole meal was absolutely spectacular, I just wanted to put everything in my mouth at once!! Amazing food, we all loved what we ordered, my daughters Whiskey Barbeque Bacon Cheeseburger was absolutely addicted, especially with their homemade grill sauce and ash sauce for their fries. My son had a fantastic buffalo chicken Mac and cheese that looked out, raw, and he said tasty. We all had an almost magical moment we didn't want to finish. We were able to eat our wealth and bring some remains home to enjoy the next day. All I can say is that I didn't have such good food in a really long time. You have to try it yourself! The prices are somewhat steep, but it is worth it! I can't wait to go back!! My new favorite restaurant
What a fun and the food is excellent, I wanted to bring my husband to an Irish restaurant for his birthday, as we are both Irish and we were very pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food is and the drinks are much fun. This place has three sections and Irish bar, restaurant area and lounge area.
So much kindness packed in a visit! Patio dining and togo orders are now available and we have the terrace (although we have done to go several times and it was all fantastic). Service was super helpful and friendly as always, and safety and cleanliness was obviously a priority. Check their social media pages for the latest menus and specialties as things change weekly. Now to the important part... the food! We ordered loaded spucks and a Magners train to start. The spuds were PERFECT: hot, crispy notes with bacon, their special donkey sauce, sour cream and green onion. We always fight for the last (I won). The only thing I want to see differently is a better choice of cider. Your beer selection is brilliant, but apple wine lacks something. Entries were the Whiskey BBQ Burger for the hubs and the Thunder Cluck for me. The Whiskey BBQ was a generous patch with onion rings and bacon with a lot of sauce. He chose Donkeyries (my little fav, but he cleaned his plate). The Thunder Cluck can be grilled or crispy with the chicken and I chose crispy (serious, you must have this sandwich). Crispy chicken, bacon, avocado, onion, salad, tomatoes and Swiss cheese with a balsam glaze. I chose a salad with a creamy balsamicum as my side. Salad was simple, but fresh. Romaine, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and crumbs. Great food, great people. I recommend visiting and supporting a great Roseville treasure.
What a great place filled with great cheer, great beer, and every kind of Irish Wiskey you desire. The food is delicious and the staff are warm and welcoming. Will be back soon!
